Hello guys, welcome to Enchanted Chest, today I wanna talk about my all time favourite Jo malone fragrances. I usually layer Peony&Blush Suede and Red Roses. Let's dip into  each colognes first, and I am gonna say about the layering fragrance.

This is the third bottle of Peony&Blush for me. I start to use it a lot since the scent of peony was a big trend in Korea a few years ago. This scent is pretty heavy and posh. When I use this cologne, my friends asked about my fragrance and my fiance sniffed me saying I smell like posh lol. As he said, peony&blush is too much for an everyday fragrance. I usually use peony at work and important meeting.

Its top note is RED APPLE, the middle note is PEONY and the base note is SUEDE. Peony&Blush smells warm and comfy rather than strong alcohol as many floral fragrances do. You feel like smarten yourself up, others think you are nice as you are.

If you wanna find the scent to layer with Peony&Blush, the website recommends Grapefruit or Woodsage and Seasalt.

Next is Red roses, I purchased it to slightly conceal the heaviness of Peony&Blush. Its scent is literally a fresh rose. Imagine you took a lot of rose petals in your arms. yeah. that is. It doesn't need further explanation. If you expect posh and luxurious rose scent, you must be disappointed because it smells nothing but a fresh rose. Furthermore, if you want to use it singularly, i ask you to do the second thought. If it mixed with your sweat, it smells like a luxury toilet diffuser. So, when i use it as itself, I always use a small amount of it inside my shirts or my nape. Unless you were a big lover of rose, I don't recommend to use it singularly.

Its top note is lemon, the middle note is red rose, and the base note is honeycomb. As you can see, the top and base note exist to support the middle note. These make the rose scent sweeter and sourer, that's all.

For layering cologne, the website recommends Nectarine Blossom and Honey to make it cool or Nutmeg and Ginger to make it a spicy kick.

Let's talk about the layering fragrance between Peony&Blush and Red Roses.
When I purchase the second bottle of Peony&Blush, I visited the flagship store in London. I asked a staff to recommend a layering scent to make Peony&Blush light, because I loved this cologne so much and wanted to use it casually. She recommended Red Roses, and I really appreciate at her work till now.

I am quite far from posh, so Red Roses is perfect match with Peony&Blush for me. Red Roses twists the posh scent to unique and lovely floral scent really well.

I hope this post to be helpful for you, If you have any idea with colognes especially Jo malone, leave the comments and share your experience with me.
See You Later Luv :D
