I will compare 3 colours of DW foundation
Because EsteeLauder do not sell every colour in Korea,
It was difficult to choose right colour for me
What so ever, I got Fresco and Dawn in UK
and I could buy Bone only in Korea:(
There are Bone(1W1), Dawn(2W1), Fresco(2C3)
from left side
You could recognize Fresco has pinky colour
Bone and Dawn are gud for warm toned skin and
Fresco is great for cool toned skin like me
As you can see, first two products are stunned on my skin
but last one is quite OK
That's why you need to know which your skin tone is
I spread them on my skin
(I applied Fresco too much;P)
My question was what the colour code means.
1W1, 2W1, 2C3
What does it mean?!
As my research, the first letter means overall skin colour tone,
(1;fair,very light / 2; light / 3; mideum / 4; mideum dark / 5; dark)
the second letter means skin tone of course,
(W; warm / N; neutral / C; cool)
the third letter means skin colour tone in first 2 letters' range
(1W1; fair warm toned and light colour
2W1; light warm toned and light colour
2C3; light cool toned and dark colour)
